Good product, be careful of sizes
Good quality, but be careful about sizes: I have a 30" waist and ordered a size medium, which usually fits me with other brands. But this was WAY too small (maybe good for a 27" waist).
Good cup, bad jock strap.
The cup is well constructed, provides excellent protection, and is comfortable. The problem is with the jock strap. While the jock strap is much superior to a traditional one, after two months of use, primarily in grappling for roughly 5-7 hours a week, the seam that connects the cup holder to the jock strap started tearing. After one more month (three total), the cup completely tore off from the jock strap. What is frustrating is I can't find any "shock doctor" jock straps for sale individually; they only come with a cup, which means I have to pay full price for cup and strap even though the cup is in great condition. To improve the product, they should double or triple stitch the connecting seam or just sell jock straps separately.
Sweet
This cup is very comfortable. As someone who has played baseball for over 17 years this is the first cup I can stand to wear while on the field. Worth the money. The jock that comes with it is your standard jock nothing too fancy.

Edit: The jock does seem a bit small, ordering one size larger than you are would be a good idea.

Good product
I purchased this as a Christmas present and have been using them this summer. They are just as pictured. They work fine and seem to be holding up just fine in the weather. Good deal for the price.
Home plate, pitcher's rubber,a nd three bases - they do exactly what one would expect them to do...
They sit on the ground, remain out of the way until they are needed, and allow a backyard baseball game to proceed. What more can you ask of five pieces of something that looks like rubber. An added benefit - fewer arguments about whether a ball hit down the line is fair or foul.

I can't believe it but it really seems to work!
I bought this titanium necklace just to try one more alternative treatment for my joint pains and was really pleasantly surprised. It seems to be actually helping. I take tons of supplements and use magnets as well as the Q-ray ring/bracelet but this is the first item that seemed to immediately help decrease the pain in my joints. I'll have to see how it fairs as time goes by but if constantly wearing a rather ugly necklace is the price to pay, so be it. I can't say it'll help everyone who tries it but it definitely seems to be relieving my joint pains. Yehhhhh.....something that REALLY works!!

I bought this for my backyard to be used in a cage I have set up. I opted for this model for two main reasons. Cost and safety. It's one of the cheaper models from Jugs. Compared to the ones that throw hard baseballs or the hard dimpled pitching machine balls besides being cheaper it is also much safer for my 7 and 10 year old. I don't have to worry about them getting hit with the balls. There are cheaper options out there (mound monster, hitting streak) but this one feels like it is built to last as compared to some of the other pitching machines in the under $400 range. It is a good weight (35lbs) and feels very solid.

Jugs Small-Ball Pitching Machine

Quality Product
I coach a ten year old baseball team and wanted a different type of pitching machine to use during batting practice. My theory was if my players could hit a ball this small with a bat this small, the regulation ball during the game would seem like a cabbage ball or something to them which in turn would produce more hits, in turn produce more runs. This pitching machine does exactly what I expected it to do. Everything I read about this machine in the description as well as the different reviews online was positive so I took a chance. The only reason I did not give this product a five star rating is due to the velocity of the ball launched from the machine. There are different settings for different things such as curve ball, fast ball etc. but no speed regulation knob or the ability to crank up the speed for those specific pitches. I thought that maybe there would be a setting to regulate the speed of the pitches but instead you can only regulate the speed of the pitch by selecting what type of pitch you want it to throw, such as the fast ball, curve ball, etc. Overall I am pleased with this product as it is very stable, very well constructed and quality made. It is also very portable from the house to the baseball field. I did not purchase the battery pack for this machine as they were pretty expensive in my opinion. Plugging it in works just fine for me where I use it so that is the route I went. I would recommend this product to anyone.

If your looking for a way to practice indooors, and don't have access to a large building, this is it. With the air control valve, you can regulate speed and distance. Automatic feed lets you practice alone, and it is very portable. The golf ball size wiffle balls, both perforated and solid gives you options. I would like to try a good quality foam ball. The unit is a little noisy in a closed space. It's screaming for someone to make a ball just for it. Great for improving hand and eye and developing a quick bat. The kids I teach love it. We finish some workouts with a little home run derby using a 1"inch training bat. This will make you swing at the center of the ball. I would buy it again. We use this during all the snow days. I haven' tried this outside, but I'm sure it will perform well, unless it's windy.

ATEC Pro Pitcher's Practice Screen

Very durable, strike zone has numbers not shown.
This pitching screen is very durable. It's heavy material and can be left hanging outside in the weather. The bottom has drain holes. The grommets are double stitched and will hold up over time. I did not purchase the frame to hang in as you can hang it from any fencing with bungy cords.
It is not pictured but the inside "strike zone" is numbered in squares of 1 through 6. This way you can really get your pitchers to hone in on certain areas. My 9 year old uses it and only aims for the 3-6 boxes because his batters will be shorter. My older son practices his curve ball by aiming at number 1 and then seeing if it drops to number 6.
Screen is pretty heavy so you'll need two people to hang properly. On bad weather days, it hangs in the garage from the garage door framing and they can still practice pitching. You'll need to purchase your own bungy cords.

This machine is great for delivering pitch after pitch in the strikezone. After 2 days, the kids are ripping line drives and hard grounders. The balls are soft and don't hurt like a real ball.
We also use it for popups. It's fun to rotate the machine to curve ball and then shoot out some tailing grounders or popups. Overall -- well worth the money.

This machine is great, espically for pitching. The throws are not always accurate, so you can get used to how a real pitcher would pitch, with not all the same throws. I would strongly suggest buying this item for a kid to practice! It has many different heights and speed

Excellent Training Device
I purchased this unit from [...] through Amazon. I ordered it on Wednesday and had it on Friday afternoon, even with the standard free shipping. Now that is what I call customer service!
The pitching machine assembled easily, with minimal tools. It helps to have a socket set available, but it can still be easily done with regular wrenches. It is easy to adjust and my boys, 10 and 12, could not wait to try it out. We tested it out at the ballfield and it definitely has the power to throw regular baseballs at decent speeds. With no need for electricity or batteries, it was simple to put in the car and then set up on the field. It has two ground spikes (optional, if you don't want to mount them) which help hold the machine in place during use. You can "throw" a ball at least every minute, probably quicker if necessary, depending on how long you take to reload the machine. It has the ability for what they call "micro adjustments" of the ball pitch by turning a spring set screw. I have noticed that it pitches pretty accurately most of the time, but there have been an occasional high or low ball. There are instructions with the machine to permanently adjust this, but it has not been so bothersome for me to seriously look at doing that yet. As far as the speed of the pitches, at the "11" highest setting it was quite fast. After slowing it down by simply resetting the bottom pull pin to a lesser number, it was a bit more realistic of the pitch speed for Minor Little League players. Either way, the boys had a great time and managed to connect with many of the faster pitches since they are almost always in the strike zone.

First of all, we love our pitching machine! There are a couple of areas in which it could be improved though.
One being the ability to adjust the speed of the pitch. I would say it comes out at about 40-45 miles per hour, which is fine for adults, but for the younger kids, too fast.

Jugs Small-Ball Pitching Machine

The best small ball pitching machine
This is a very good pitching machine for confined spaces. I use it in my unfinished basement. The accuracy of the pitches is much better than the wiffle ball pitching machine that I own.
I did have a problem with the balls getting stuck. Jugs instructed me on the phone to sand the spinning wheels so they can grip the ball. After about the tenth time I sanded the wheels they started to work well.

Adequate & accomplishes its intended purpose
I bought this pitching machine so my 8-year-old son could take batting practice in the off season (or prepare for the upcoming Little League season). It works as described. Definitely, buy the version with the electrical cord so you don't have to burn through a gazillion batteries, which is what this one has. We also turn it over on its side so my son can use it to practice fielding too.

Louisville Slugger UPM 45 Blue Flame Pitching Machine

A little pricey, but worth it in the end
This is a sturdy, well built product. I don't see it breaking easily. It is a bit pricey considering it is manually operated. However, once I got through a batting session with my son, I felt it was well worth it. The adjustment system is intuitive. It allows you to set pitches from 20 MPH to 45 MPH while being able to adjust the height of the pitch at each speed. The pitches are accurate within a few inches of each other once you get your settings locked in. As the settings are all held in place by bolts/pins, you don't have to do any major recalibration between sessions. I'd recommend it to any mom/dad who is tired of trying to lob strikes to their beginning hitter's already small strike zone.

Jugs Lite-Flite Pitching Machine

I bought this for my backyard to be used in a cage I have set up. I opted for this model for two main reasons. Cost and safety. It's one of the cheaper models from Jugs. Compared to the ones that throw hard baseballs or the hard dimpled pitching machine balls besides being cheaper it is also much safer for my 7 and 10 year old. I don't have to worry about them getting hit with the balls. There are cheaper options out there (mound monster, hitting streak) but this one feels like it is built to last as compared to some of the other pitching machines in the under $400 range. It is a good weight (35lbs) and feels very solid.

Great Item for the Cost
Bought this for my 9 year old grandson and was afraid that it wouldn't work well enough for him and his 8 year old brother to use. I haven't had very good luck with toys lately and I thought a pitching machine for $29 was asking a lot. However, it worked just fine. I had purchased an extra set of balls so there would be enough for two rounds before the gathering up process. Seems the extra balls were a little heavier and fired better than the balls that came with the product, so the boys chose to use only the one set and pick-up after each round. (they have a lot more energy than I have) They had a great time practicing their batting and I got credit for getting an awesome gift.

Need to be creative to find accessories
I purchased this product for my 8 year old who just finished a season of coach pitch baseball. He is really happy with the machine & has already hit 3 of the 4 included foam balls into our bushes where they may never be found again.

I read reviews on this product that stated that it went through batteries very quickly - we didn't find this to be true. However, I did try to purchase the power adapter from the manufacturer, only to find that they no longer offer it. Well, to remedy this I went to my local Radio Shack & purchased a 5 VDC power adapter and a blue connector - works great!
